3M is introducing a new attachment system for buffing pads. It consists of a quick release adapter similar to a locking socket system on a ratchet set. This eliminates ever having to purchase another velcro back-up pad or having pads fall off. Also, all pads are now 2-sided (including foam pads) and there's a new low-lint wood pad. If you haven't looked at 3M's polishing system lately, the entire system has been upgraded and simplified.
